Who we are
These terms cover diaforik.com and auto.diaforik.com (the sites) and the standards published on them. The sites are run by Sam Bruley, doing business as Diaforik (“Diaforik,” “we”), of Lomira, Wisconsin. Using the sites means you agree to these terms.
Using the sites
- You may browse, watch the films, and use the calculator and sample screens to evaluate Diaforik.
- You may not copy the films, images, app screens or text for resale, or scrape or interfere with the sites.
- The demo boards run on sample data in your own browser. Nothing you tap on them is sent to us.
Estimates and examples
The comeback calculator gives an estimate from the numbers you enter and the sample audit’s math: $534 a comeback, and a lost customer at $900 a year for six years. It is not a quote, a promise of savings, or financial advice.
Every number in the films and sample screens comes from a sample shop and is marked that way. Real results come from your own audit and depend on your shop.
The published standards
The eight published standards are free to use, quote, teach and print, with attribution: title, version and link.
Using a standard does not mean Diaforik endorses, certifies or audits your shop. The app, the audit, the suspect lists and specs, The Standard’s twelve chapters and the software’s logic are not published and not licensed by these terms.
Trademarks
Diaforik™ and the Diaforik logo are trademarks of Sam Bruley. Harley-Davidson, Ford, Ram, Power Stroke, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Tekmetric, Mitchell, Shop-Ware and other names are trademarks of their owners, used only to identify their products. Diaforik is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
The app and paid services
The Diaforik app, a shop audit, a school program and any paid service are covered by a separate written agreement, which controls if it conflicts with these terms. Demo versions are provided as they are, may change, and may lose data.
No warranty
The sites, films, standards and estimates are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. Diagnosis and repair decisions belong to the technician and shop doing the work, using the manufacturer’s procedures and specifications.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Diaforik is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from use of the sites or the published standards. Total liability under these terms is limited to $100, or what you paid us in the past twelve months if more.

- Hosting: the sites are hosted by Netlify.
- Changes: we may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version.
- Governing law: Wisconsin law, with courts in Dodge County, Wisconsin.
