This website
- There are no accounts, no cookies, no advertising trackers and no analytics on this site. There is one form, below.
- Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs (things like IP address and browser type) to run and protect the site.
- The live demo screens keep their sample data in your own browser. Nothing you tap on them is sent to us.
- The “Tell me about your shop” form sends what you type (your name, a phone or email, your shop, and what you want) to Sam by email, through Netlify, which hosts this site and holds the submission. It’s used to call you back and for nothing else: no list, no newsletter, not shared. Ask and it’s deleted.
- The demo room asks for a first name and a shop name so they can appear on the screens in that room. They live only in that room, on the phones and the screen in it, and go away when the room ends. We don’t keep them.
- A few pieces come from outside services: two demo screens load their fonts from Google Fonts, and the wall board demo gets a weather forecast from Open-Meteo for a fixed demo shop location, never yours. Those services see a standard web request, the same as any site you visit.
When you call, text or email
You’re talking to Sam. Your number or email address is used to reply to you. It isn’t sold, rented, or added to a mailing list.
The shop audit
- Names, phone numbers and addresses come out of your repair orders on your own computer, before the file leaves your building.
- What’s left (vehicles, work performed, parts, labor and dates) is used only to produce your audit.
- It’s never sold or shared, and it’s deleted when you ask. Your records are yours.
In the app
- The records belong to the shop.
- What’s kept on a job: the case summary, each finding with the time it was logged, the second check and who did it, and the fix verification.
- What isn’t: there’s no comeback rate per technician, no proficiency score, and no ranking.
Students and training programs
- A student’s record belongs to the student.
- An instructor sees the cohort’s cases, read-only, and that access ends at graduation.
- A host shop sees the job it did, and nothing else. The app doesn’t grade anyone; the instructor does.
- Your institution’s own policies for student records still apply, and we’ll work within them.
